Episode 6: The Hum

Mystery Category: Sensory Anomalies / Environmental Mystery

The Story: A low-frequency, persistent groan has been heard by residents in Taos for decades. We look at the search for the source of a sound that shouldn't exist.

In cities across the world, the last decades have brought reports of mysterious hums, vibrations, and trumpeting noises--loud enough to disrupt the lives of those that hear them, and resisting easy explanation. Only some people can hear the humming--and no one knows why.
