Episode 91: The Skunk Ape
Mystery Category: Cryptids / Unidentified Biological Entities
The Story: Deep in the humid expanse of the Florida Everglades lurks a creature known for its massive size and a pungent, unmistakable scent. We investigate the decades of sightings and the famous "Myakka photographs" that suggest a primate-like entity has made a home in the heart of the Sunshine State.
Coming to you deep from Florida’s swamps and, well, wherever else it wants to be, is the Sunshine State’s favorite cryptid, the skunk ape: an extra smelly bigfoot who grew popular in the 1970s but, perhaps, has been around a lot longer than that.
